Review: Idiom event at Da Capo Vineyards featured in Opulent Living
The recent event hosted at Da Capo Vineyards, was featured in Opulent Living.
- The dynamic media duo of Florian Gast and Barbara Lenhard were invited as guests of The Idiom Collection to enjoy the day with family as both friends and media. They had the following to share as a post-event review:
- “For one weekend only the Bottega family opened the family farm, Da Capo vineyards, home of The Idiom Collection of wines, which is normally a private estate, to the public for the first time. Prior to the weekend of the Stellenbosch Wine Festival it has only been open to family and the Italian community for charity functions. Idiom wines are incredibly hard to find due to the rarity of their nature so the family felt, that over this Stellenbosch Wine Festival and to welcome international visitors for the World Cup, that they should open the estate to the public for the first time. The vineyards were looking more beautiful than ever and they had prepared a host of unique activities for visitors through the weekend including having laid down a soccer field overlooking the vineyards and mountains. For the wine and food lovers renowned chef Gianni Mariano prepared the perfect dishes to compliment the Italian varietals being produced on this piece of gem.”
